Why I Created LifeTracker™

A Real-Life Journey Toward Getting It Together

In 2006, I became a widow with three young children after my husband died of cancer. It was a heartbreaking time—filled with grief, change, and the enormous responsibility of guiding my family forward. But because I was organized with our personal and financial affairs throughout his illness, I was able to focus on what mattered most: caring for him, being present with our children, and navigating our next chapter without the chaos that disorganization can bring.

That experience changed the course of my life. It didn’t just affirm my natural tendency to stay organized—it gave me purpose. I want to help others feel that same sense of clarity, peace, and preparedness during life’s most difficult moments.

In time, I remarried and blended families, bringing new love—and more complexity—into my life. Managing combined households and finances was one challenge, and later, caring for aging parents added another layer. While I always valued staying organized, these chapters deepened my commitment to keeping everything in order—not just for myself and those I care for, but also to make it easier for someone to step in and help manage my affairs someday.

This real-world experience, combined with my passion for helping others, gave me the foundation and skills to build my business as a Daily Money Manager and Death Doula—roles where I support people through everyday responsibilities and major life transitions. I’ve spent years helping individuals and families get their lives in order—from financial accounts and legal documents to healthcare preferences and end-of-life plans.
